These are so cool! Thumbs Up When I first saw the Kestrel I thought someone had grafted an Fw190 canopy and a Typhoon chin radiator onto a P-39. cheesy

With the main undercarriage moved aft a bit you could even go for a tricycle landing gear.

What is that long-barrelled gun?  Does the designation suggest some sort of a 57mm?   Cheers!

The Czech tank reminds me of an alt.-history thread on Canadian troops pushing into Czech and start re-equipping themselves with local arms.

How do you think of this one?

(Man, I found myself infinitely more interested in armours than I was before......)

(And if you indeed are awared of this tank and have come up with a blank, and I should fail to notice, please consider it as if I'm having a brain cramp......  Grin)

THN57/900 was a OTL project for a light tank with a 57mm gun (initially designed with a 47mm gun) and was one of two projects initiated postwar (the other being the TVP medium tank). About the T-25, I always liked that tank and especially its semi-automatic 75mm gun (a bit surprised they didnt poduce it postwar).

Vary of exporting its revolutionary Mig-15 the USSR still decided it needed a more capable export fighter than the MiG-9 and Yak-23 wich lead to the now so familiar MiG-9bis
