Of course, the Messerschmitt Me 210 is well known as not being a double Me 110 (Zwilling)...
Of course, the Bf 110Z-2, as the Do 17Z-2 (see below), is well known as being a Zerstörer not a Zwilling...
BUT why not enriching the family with a Bf 110Z-11 Zwilling? I may try to work on this...

A book presentation on the Web listed the Dornier Do 217Z Zwilling project:
http://www.deutschesfachbuch.de/info/detail.php?PHPSESSID=sp&isbn=3763760377
I have bought the book, but no, it was just another code for the Do 217J.
Yes, but what if…?

As the Air Ministry, so traditionnal, refused asymmetry, a bigger Handley-DaFrog proposal came:
close but no cigar. since the HP 54 is asymetrical the fields of defensive fire are also asymetrical therefore the plan was to have an even number aircraft in a formation with the layout of half the aircraft being mirrored to give heavy defensive fire to the outside of the formatin without lugging along a heap of guns that are only likely to hit friendlies anyway. (of course i realise the drawing shows a torpedo bomber and i don't thinkn those fly in massive strategic bomber like formations but it was such a good idea Grin)
