At http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,5355.0.html was mentionned a single-engined version of the Focke-Wulf Fw 187 Falke, among other unknown variants of Fw-187. I am pleased to add, from MyMind Archives, the asymmetric Fw 187Y Why and twin Fw 187Z Zwilling...

The lateral floats on the Sunderland brought drag and weight for almost nothing, just for balance.
A Twin-Sunderland needs no more those extra floats.
But 1 fin, 1 cockpit, 4 engines, are enough, so : Twin-Hull-Sunderland...

One of those Sunderlands deserves to be modelled - if only there was a 1/144 scale one - A Model perhaps in the future ?

here is the (asymmetric twin-boom) single-engined Fw-189/1m, with lateral view much improved (and increased range, reduced speed):

It's interesting, but (and I hope you don't mind the criticism, just trying to be constructive) perhaps you can place the crew gondola on the other, now empty boom - should help balance out the asymmetric forces (like on the Bohm & Voss) and make it even more interesting Smiley

So... thanks to the great wiseness of Senior-Ing. JustKöllmeray (Blohm und Voss top leader), here is the final (much improved) Fw 189/1m V2. Great! Wub Thanks a lot for the correction! Thumbs Up
(what? the ability for the gunner to fire downward? no need... Blohm und Voss 2008 is dedicated to peace and love, we mean: tourism... Grin)

In the old asymmetric topic

What about a He-111 with 3 engines? 2 on outer wing sections, and 3rd on the 2nd fuselage!
Here is my answer, of several He111Z/3m, from large to small finishing by the He111B777LR…

(from van883's topic http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,16200.0.html )
here is a P-82 Twin-Mustang twin-plane turned down into 2 separate single-planes then turned back into a twin-plane, with separate tails (He111Z-like):

In 2005, my coming back to modellism came with the single-engined Westland Whirlwind, called Singlewind (see http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,6128.15.html ). BUT this was not the only single-engined Whirlwind. Another asymmetric one and a twin-fuselage one completed the family:
