I like the BB-1 multi-boom!
Yes, the reduced spacing between the fuselages should also improve the balance.

Question for Stargazer2006 : when you said « not-fuselages » are only booms that must be useless except holding tail and including fuel tanks (and undercarriage ?) : what about engines with turbos and coolers (P-38) or jets (Borovkov-Florov D, here what-ifed without piston engine) and tail gunners (NA-116, here what-ifed as twin-engine short span) ?

Booms, booms, booms!
To me they are booms, I wouldn't even question it, but I do agree there is an element of complete subjectivity to it!

Thanks, I think this is enough to find a wording to express this feeling that I understand. Now my Sunday task will be turning that into sentences, with drawings of examples and puzzles...
(my way is loving uncertainty, while I understand many ones prefer a clear opinion...

(Working hard on the definition issue, Stargazer enrichment, I am taking a 10-minutes break, smile)
From the very nice 1/72 kit of Bv P178 at

The rather famous Blohm und Voss asymmetric P.111 was featured at
http://www.luft46.com/bv/bvp111.html
but… asymmetry was disliked in 1944, so was considered an unknown symmetric P.111Z. This one is single-boom twin-hull somehow, but the twin-boom derivative would come just after.

Tophe,
That's FANTASTIC, I love it!
Mind you, that original P111 looks great too and is readily modelable if you can get the original kit in the first place.

Kit, Ing. Vogt heard your grandfather and designed a P.111Z-3 becoming asymmetric again, while twin-boom to comfort my own grand-father...
