would you be willing to do a "zwilling" of the Blohm & Voss BV222?
So here is the Luis & Voss Bv-222Z zwilling...
Note there are no external floats, as the twin-hull layout is enough for balance on the sea.

Considering the rough seas and the torsions that the aircraft will be subject too, I would join the two tails together to make the whole thing more sturdy...

On the opposite, the Toff & Voss Bv-222Z-3 avoided over-stability to save weight...

Ha ha! This latter one would dive straight into the sea just floating there for a second!
But you can still make it asymmetric if you put more wing on one side and more engines on the other...

Ups... I forgot (and my computer crashed): I presented already many Bz-222Z at
http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,20326.195.html
while they are all different, enriching the subject
I will try another one, maybe, to avoid heresy (and crash) differently...

So here is the asymmetric sesqui-hull (one hull and a half) Bv-222Z-12:

Those gorgeous Hellhawks made me dream...
of twin-fuselage twin-engined single-seat derivatives:
Thanks again, Lauhof52 designer!
(I am going to post this also in my twin-boom topic, and Mustangized versions on my Mustang topic, thanks again)

The twin-fuselage Hellhawks were designed first as twin-engine, then they matched a new requirement for a single-engine airplane with a radar (big at first, reduced later). Of course, this layout was strongly asymmetric:

I presented the Heinkel He 519 and 619 at
http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,20326.msg367763/highlight,heinkel.html#msg367763
Now I present the single-engined He 719 (asymmetric) and 819 (half zwilling):

From Wyrmshadow’s topic
http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,25458.135.html
came the interesting Warhound (mix of P-40 and Bv P.170). Alas this is a triplex-boomer according to my personnal standards. So with PhotoPaint (the Canadian Photoshop), I gave life to the Warhound 2 asymmetric (two-booms according to my standards) and the Warhound 3 (twin-booms and a pod)…
Sorry Wyrm for this butcherizing your beautiful work, but you know, this is the risk publishing on a what-if board…
Not to make your headache more painful, don’t visit my asymmetric page
http://cmeunier.chez-alice.fr/Asymm_addition.htm
with the Warhound 2 addition at the end, no, don’t do it, poor boy. Just receive my warm thanks.

Now, 3 extra Dakotas: single-engined on top, asymmetric on the left:

The 3-engined Me110/Bf109, which is a forthcoming-2010 Unicraft kit (
http://www.unicraft.biz/
) has been much discussed at
http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,9028.0.html
.
From it, I imagine an asymmetric twin-engine Bf 109 and a 6-engined Bf 109Z zwilling :

Thanks to
https://www.fiddlersgreen.net/aircraft/MiG-3/IMAGES/MiG3-3view.jpg
here is the twin-fuselage two-seater Mig 3-3 (decades before the MiG 29M would be renamed MiG 33):
