At http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,24074.555.html Jorel62 presented an elegant twin-boom mix of Bf110 and P-51 (which is a 1945 design according to me): the F-4B Black Dog:

The Junkers EF100 airliner project of 1940 is presented at http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,656.0.html
but here we may present the less serious EF100Z Zwillingliner

that original P111 looks great too and is readily modelable if you can get the original kit in the first place.
There is a whole family around the Bv138 and P.111 (in my what-if mind's archives):

Whiffing since the 70s

Tophe,

I'm laughing so much I can't get on with building the model!  Bow Cheers! Grin

I only have one Bv 138 kit or I'd build a few of them!

Kit,
I am seriously considering sending you (as a gift) the Supermodel Bv-138 "kit" that I have and will probably not build in the forthcoming 10 years...

Tophe,

That's very generous, thanks, but let's see what my first one comes out like when I've finished it. It could be a disaster!

I think he meant for you to assemble to two at once into one of the asymmetric or twin-boom variants!

Yes, but that was just a possibility, nothing is mandatory Grin And the P.111 is what-if and asymmetric enough, by itself! Thanks!

Dear PR19_Kit reminded me he built the twin Yak-15Db Dbojhoj (drawn by ElectrikBlue), and this is completing (the ones in my book:) Glenn’s Yak-15Dv Dvukhfyuzyelajniy and my Yak-315. Thanks Kit !
To be more different from Glenn’s, I have drawn the 2-seat version mentioned in the backstory.
(Kit’s related topics are http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,23822.0.html built and http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,23828.0.html story)

Dear PR19_Kit, yes him again, told me in a PM that his project is an amphibian Bv P.111 and that the port wheel is a problem... Oh, yes! More easily, I imagine Land versions of this family, from the Bv-138L Landflugzeuge. The P.111L is the first asymmetric plane with a high wing that I remember having seen...

From Jorel62’s great topic http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,24074.585.html :
I started with Bagera P-61. Added some of Badger Bus Co. B-26. The canopy from Arc's He-111 mixed with some other stuff. And I call it the A-50C Wasp.

I know these are pure fantasy, not destined to be flyable... but what good would be a single spat on only one side???  rolleyes

There's probably a pair of tandem wheels protruding from the main fuselage pod, but they don't stick out enough to need even vesitigial spats.

Mind you, Brian would fit even micro-spats if he was building it..........  smiley
