When I found my old drawings of the Guépard, I have the idea of this... the Tiger Delta! Grin

Ultra-Conservative as I am, I like the first one the most...........but, hey! that second one is surely full of whiffing promise!!! Bow Bow Bow

What roles would you put both of them on? (assuming both are naval types)

Wonderful Jet-Broncos, both "classical" and single-seater Wub Wub

Edit: on the single-seater, what are the jet intakes for on the central pod? a third jet? nice... Thumbs Up

Hi Tophe, the jet intakes are for a bigger central jet engine (VTOL version)!  rolleyes

Hey Blue, when you get bored I got some projects in mind. An F-20 with Gripen wings and foreplanes and a MiG -29 with Viggen wings evil
If you want to get really weird I plan on taking the wings and shoulders from a 1/48 Tomcat and mounting them far back on a Flanker then taking the wings and shoulders from a 1/72 F-14 and mounting them as forward canards evil A double VG SU-27 Grin

Hi STS!

Do you mean something like this with scaled down Tomcat wings? evil

Very close on the second one. But I plan on having the shoulders from the F-14 Tomcat both forward and aft (just in different scales)so that both wings and canards will be VG.

Oh I see, plastic seems to be a better way to explain things! Grin

But the ratio 72/48 is only 1.5, meaning that the canards would look pretty big compared to the SU-33 which has a span ratio (wing/canard) of 2.2! Blink

1/48 for the wings and 1/100 for the canards would be a better choice 100/48=2.08 which is closer to 2.2 (Revell made a 1/100 F-14 Tomcat).

I had actually thought about that before as I bought a 1/144 Tomkitty last week and saw that it was way too small. I had a suspicion that 1/72 would be too big. It is just a question of finding a 1/100 Blink It may very well be the deciding factor in this build. huh

Revell do an Easykit F-14 in 1/100 that shouldn't be hard to get hold of.  I know Weaver got a mutated Chinese kit of a 1/100 Tomcat, but IIRC it was in a brandless box.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

My LHS has a bunch of those kits. I'll go look in a few days.
