Thanks to all for your comments! Grin

Here's the Macchi MB.400 Folgore II the result of the transformation of a MB.339 into a single seater fighter!
Looks like a BAe Hawk 200 but they only have the Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca Adour in common (with reheat system on the Macchi MB.400).
Tail planes shape and wing root extensions are mostly inspired by the F-20 Tigershark.
The intakes are larger, wing span is unchanged but chord and swept angle are increased compared to the MB.339!

Hope you like it!

EB

Hi Greg, thanks for the nice picture of the Veltro!  Grin Thumbs Up
The MB-339K was a bit disappointing because it was almost the same plane as the MB-326K,
that's why I tried something different with the Macchi MB.400.

Hi Chern!  Grin
Here's all I have about the Freelancer!
(sorry for the bad quality of the 3view)

And a similar plane, the Delta F-15!

I love that Folgore II, EB.  The nose looks so much like a Hawk 200, but the rest looks a squished F-20.  Both very clean, very nice designs.  Yours seems to combine the best features of both in an even smaller package.

Cheers,

Logan

Now the ZELL ShootingStar II inspired by the Republic XF-103 and a scaled version of the Boeing Bomarc!
Carrying 4 long range missiles in weapon bays it was designed as a manned and unmanned high speed/altitude interceptor.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Some variants of the Junkers D.II profile I posted before on the WW-I Aircraft WHIF Ideas thread when I tried 'reversing' the airframe of a Junkers D.I, adding a canard and a foldable, tricycle undercarriage, plus two rudders moved to the half span position of each wing.
In these new profiles, undercarriage is extended and I added armored glass bubble canopy allowing higher altitude flights.

Picture #1:
1) Interceptor
2) Back to back two seater
3) Trainer with unfolded undercarriage

Picture #2:
1) D.II+, Interceptor plus rudder and spinner modification
2) Two retrofitted D.I

EB

Here is the XP-80 float plane I made to explain the idea of the semi-retractable wing tip floats!  Grin
(first posted on Robert's Profiles thread)

PS: Original color scheme, markings, and float are from Robert and Jostein.

Something  I'm working on!

I'm redrawing an old profile of one of my attemps to make a Super-Harrier with delta wings and canard (of course Grin).

Here's a preview... let me know if you like it!
