Especially like the one with tandem seating arrangement.  Thumbs Up

Finally I get to make a comment on an assymetrical aircraft. Apart from the headache of how it looks (I'm a very symmetrical minded fellow.. my brain goes into spasms looking at these things)... wouldn't the pilot experience extra G-forces during a roll because he's that much futher away from the axis of the spin?

If it is mainly a reco-aircraft ("R" of RF-55) there are not much rolls maybe, this is not dogfight Grin

Mach 5 would be enough to be called "hypersonic". I wait EB's (creator) answer to know...
What about the pod(s) below the wing? Probably not floats but what? reco pods? Tell us more, EB, please... Grin

Yes, reco pods and fuel tanks (she drinks a lot)!

Back to the past with some D.III whif variants of the previous WWI Junkers D.I/D.II and a profile of a captured D.III (also called 'Blitz').

All D.III are supposed to be powered by experimental 'motor-jet' engines.
This primitive jet engine consisted of a Coanda axial compressor actuated by a radial piston
engine in place of a turbo-compressor and a 'Campini inspired' burner. rolleyes
