You guys have inspired me! Here's the Mirage 1000! (I'm sure Tophe will put it to good asymmetric use...  Grin)

Nice, José! But don't you think the 4000's fin is way too big for a lightweight fighter like the 1000?  rolleyes

Well, the big fin was one of the main features of the 4000 (the fin was as big as a Mirage F-1 wing).
I also started a twin-fin version based on a second picture of the Mirage-1000 but I have not finished it yet... maybe tomorrow!?

Very interesting!  Thumbs Up Shouldn't it be given a distinct designation, perhaps? "Mirage 1000-T" or something like that?  smiley

Funny, I've just reworked a twin-fin jet as a single-fin one!  Grin Check my gallery some time...

Thanks to your great gallery http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,26120.315.html
Here is what I was supposed to make/”reveal”:
After the century-contract Mirage failure, Dassault designers wondered: on our new Mirage 1000, should we have jet intakes “à la Mirage” or “à la F-16”. The Armée de l’Air answer was: “we want both!”. This gave life to the Mirage 1001, yes, indeed!

Tophe the twin Mirage-1000/1001 is very cute and the asymmetry is very subtle!  Wub

I'm thinking Foxbat.
Exactly, but with delta wings 's'il vous plaît' !  Cheers!

Twin-tail Mirage 4000 looks quite beautiful! Wub

Delta-wing Foxbat? Hmmm, gives me an idea for a cheap 1/48 Foxbat I bought just for the decals.

You and me both, Moritz - I've got an Old Revell Foxhound that's going to be a Full Delta when I get the chance - got an Arrow just for the wings.
