Oh, I would have love you EB to be Dassault's boss (or chief designer)...
If only it could be true!
Today I want to try something different...
Here is the
"Pou-du-ciel" II
a whif successor of the original
"Pou-du-ciel"
designed by Henri Mignet.
(First two pictures are from old attempts)
Hope you like it!
Regards to all,
EB

Dear EB, how do you choose your subjects?
Could we give you ideas to enrich this delicious collection? I would love a supersonic modern derivative of the old asymmetric Blohm-und-Voss Bv-141... would you do that?
Feel free to answer: either "no, this is not what I like"
or else "maybe, this is a crazy challenge"

I'm mostly interested by
air to air jet fighters
with unusual wing or engine layout!
This supersonic Bv-141 sounds like a crazy idea... maybe it can be based on several designs with unswept wing and engines in wing nacelles like:
- Gloster Meteor (subsonic)
- Armstrong-Withworth AW.169
Following:
Mirage F1
with a small alteration.
A whif version one of the mach 3
Super-Griffon
(real project of Nord-Aviation).

Super Griffon is a beauty, do you have a side view of the version with the high mounted intake?

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Well, EB, I have not your talent in 3D design, nor JP's talent in line drawing, but my special point is being crazy about twin-planes and that directs me to actual supersonic 141s... See below from F-16A to F-141A... (with a rear canopy for some reason... maybe if electronics are in a jam):

Wow, I find the F-141A very surprising and imaginative, far from what I have in mind!
And your drawing skills seems good enough to allow you to express your ideas.
I particularly like the 'rear canopy', but the left tailplane and tailfin is a little disturbing, it could be very unstable at high speeds...
Edit
: Anyway, here's a quick preview of the F-141A (but a twin engined version).

Logic-Wizard's
site)

Wow!!!
I love your F-141A, so better than mine!
That confirms you should be the chief designer (not only of Dassault but of the whole World!)
Just: do you authorize me, EB, to put a reduced copy of this pearl on my assymmetric Web site (with a link towards here)?

I would like to, but you have to mention the author of the base F-16 model, see the link on the 'Edit' section of the original post!

I do not read Japanese fluently enough to mention his/her name, sorry. This will be EB/FMS, I think... Thanks!

Great drawings. That Hawkjet looks like an Alphajet mated with a Yak 130.

Thanks Ed!
Indeed! It looks like a 'baby' version of the Yak-130, but maybe the AlphaJet met a SkyHawk before...
not sure who's the father!
(the HawkJet was a first attempt to made a 'supersonic' AlphaJet I called
DeltaJet
)
