Why not just remove any timeframe?  Luftwaffe from any era, if you want steampunk Prussian or a Nazi-zombie space empire, that's okay too?

I'm rather tempted to do one of the Heller Mirage III's I've got as an alternative to the Starfrightener....  evil

Though a Luftwaffe Gripen has it's attractions....hmmmm Jager Lite anyone?  rolleyes

on the drawing board:
1/72 Do228 (Flemish Naval Command)

One idea that does suddenly spring to mind is...what if East Germany had some Su-27's, as well as MiG-29's.... and after re-unification the Bundes Luftwaffe liked them so much they kept them.....

...and I have an Airfix Flanker in the stash....  afro

It would be a good reason to build up a Me-110 with cloth wings, betrousered fixed gear, and a set of turboprops sprouting out of the wings.

Or for a fly off between the Su-24 and FB-111.    etc.   Blink Blink Blink
