We were in the sky on a Cebu Pacific flight, and the stewardess sold little models of the Airbus A-320 we were in. I got one, nice, but... so real. I looked for a what-if transformation. Alas, all is metal in big pieces: impossible to remove one engine (to get a single-jet asymmetric airliner), impossible to remove the wings and install them opposite (for forward swrpt wings). But the fin can be removed, alas a fin-less airliner is less beautiful...

Reverting the fin is funny, but not beautiful:

I think the final choice will be: adding a T-tail on top of the fin (in which direction?)

Someone needs to send Mr Howling Mouse a "T-tail alert". I can't wait to see what you come up with, Tophe!

I'm impressed, Tophe.  Yet, surprised at the flawless symmetry you've come up with. You must be itching to take at least one of the horiz. stabilizers off, no?

 Cheers!

Dear JHM, Saint T-Tail Master... the symmetry in the A320T above (=A320T-1) was not choosen  Blink but simply accepted  smiley .
At scale 1 for passengers, the true projects are the asymmetric A320T-2, 3, 4 below... Grin
Alas, for this scale metal little reproduction angry , T-2 & T-3 required sawing off the metallic tailplane, which is above my technical skills huh , while T-4 was not solid enough with just glue huh . But, scale 1, I promess, the poor passengers will not have to suffer from excessive symmetry. Grin
