I want to what-if Blink my last JMN evil home-built scale model: the first 1/32 kit I ever built (1976? 12 years old, from a gift - at this surprising scale - that made to me my uncle, proud to have been a Spitfire pilot in the 1950s): RAF Spitfire Mark 1. I will what-if it like I did for the P-51D, removing guns and nationalistic colors, with a tail change somehow. cheesy

Here is the back story: Blink
The principle of civilized morals, highest ethics, is: “treat the others like you want to be treated”. And colonialism was very good to teach this to Barbarians. They understood us so much (and it was so wise) that they came back here, 1919, invading us like we did towards them. France here became Vietnamese-Algerian-Canaque-Algonquins united land (VACA), and on the other side of the Channel, Great Britain became Aborigen-Zulu-Indian-Apache united land (AZIA). The Germans and Italians, seeing that, judged that colonialism deserved vomiting rather than jealousy, and no WW2 ever happened.
Far from the science-fiction nightmare of “camouflage” to hide and kill surprisingly, civilian single-seat aircraft were used (weapon-less of course) for entertainment parade, in the dear colors of Mother Nature. The best of them was the Supermicmac SpitfeeT Mark 1, with a T-tail for harmony (a smiling fantasy of the designer: the great Ing. Jeronimo Howling Mouse Bow )… Grin

Yet another winner, Tophe! A certain Howling Mouse would be absolutely delighted with the T-tail treatment! I really like that modification as well as how you changed the markings!

Tres magnifique!

I have rang the T-tail alarm of John Howling Mouse (the grand-son of Ing. Jeronimo Howling Mouse mentionned above)... Blink
To prevent his anger (why not twin-boom? Angry why not asymmetric Angry ) I have added a bonus on my twin-boom CGI topic

(sorry I had no second Spit 1/32 to use... Blink )

As you can see on this profile, the tailplane gluing is not much solid. I like it that way: as high as possible, without truncating the fin to install it flat. My wife confirmed gently: "if you like buiding those models again, I may break them removing dust, good!"...

I confess: I am a plastic model molester.

This is truly fantastic, Tophe!  And I'm not just saying that because it's a T-Tail!  Love the insignia based on the backstory.

Great job, Tophe.   Bow

The T tail is a modern solution to a old problem. Turning radius if you said so, may be reduce by the lever's law. However, you make my think in new posibilities. Thumbs Up
