What Happened to the Whiffies?

First, the Academy wants to apologize for the delay in getting the Nomination Polls out.  This little thing called work and family have taken away a lot of my time.

Thanks to puddingwrestler, we did collect all of the posts from the Sway thread and have them in a spreadsheet ready to convert.  Some categories are pretty big with 67 jets, 50 alternate markings, 42 props, 31 kitbashes and 22 camoflage.  This means it will be very important that you pick your 5 faves from each.  Others only just managed to get the required 5 nominations.  They will be on the poll just to give those builds a chance at the Whiffie of the Year (remember, the top 5 most popular overall in the Nomination polls go on for that honor).  As expected, the requested Most Improved categories did not get the required numbers, however, I felt generous this year so combined imagers and builders into one Most Improved category to at least give someone recognition.

Overall we had 339 nominations so building the polls will take a little bit of time.  I am hoping to get these out by Wednesday this week, earlier if possible.  Will run these for 10 days, compile the finals (which should be quick, especially if I can reuse the polls) and run the final vote for another 10 days.  If I can get this done in time, the Whiffies could be on April 1st.

Again, sorry for the delay and we will do our best to get this taken care of.

Philip, sorry I couldn't be of service, I know how much work you guys put into this. I completely understand real life being a nuisance. Looking forward to seeing all the entries.
