The Twin-Super-Corsair with her separate tails and \_/ central wing, was too fragile, obviously, so let us imagine the most solid of all twin-corsairs: the Vought/Petrie F4U-22...
(Alvis, I took the basis from my savings, your gallery http://www.vsm.bc.ca/Gal/members_pages/Alv...vis_Petrie.html is still not working it seems Sad )

The F4U-22B is more balanced for weights and shadows on the ground, but this comes from 2 light sources... evil

To complete the gallery, complete the circle from Twin-Corsair to Sea-Whirlwind, I was ready to twin the Float-Corsair model that I had saved from somewhere on the Net. But I preferred to find the source to direct „serious“ modelers to it rather than using it as a pirat… I thought it came from MartinH‘s leaded http://groups.msn.com/TheWhatifandoddballmodelpage/ but I have not found it… However, I found something nice too, from Joe-Cherry modelling posted by Martin (TSR-Joe and MartinH?): a jet-Whirlwind. And that reminded me that MartinH growled when I mentioned I may build a Twin-Whirlwind model, saying he owns forever all Copyrights upon the What-if Westland WhirlWind World (WWWWW). So, as a payment, I give him this Twin-Whirlwind-Jet Mk.4:

Well, I think no... Posting here is enough for me (and directing here from my downloading site). I feel the closure of my book adventure was fine enough, this will not be an endless story. I am retired, just happy... Smiley

Well, dual control on the ground may be a problem, you see what I mean?

Holy crud !

They must have some kind of anti-gravity matter in the outer nacelles, keep 'em from flopping off during landings and hard manouvers !

I've heard of an anti-gravity system called 'lift' or 'wing'... Smiley
