one lab accident away from becoming a supervillian

Some time back, i tryed to build an 1/144 scale aircraft carrier out off scrap wood and plastic packages  :dum: . The attempt was a good idea, but the result wasnt to good.
however, im planing to improve it to make it look more like a modern carrier (going to replace the "wine crait" with a new ship shaped bottom).
on board you can see NH-90, AS330, F-23, F/A-22, F/A-18E (swiss) and the F-35B.

so here's the result

however, im also concidering a new carrier off the same scale but in the "Ark Royal" class, equiped with sea harriers, F-35's or even SU-47K's.

Grand idea.  I love larger scale stuff.  And while 1/144 isn't large for planes, it's huge for aircraft carriers.

I hesitate to provide this link: will it inspire you or make you give up in frustration?

in an attempt to upgrade my carrier, i have sawn off 1/3 off the "wine crate" hull.
then i painted the rest off the top deck and added the lines to the cables, jet blast shields and elevators.

its starting to look like an aircraft carrier now.

Yup....you're right ! It is starting to look like an a/c carrier now !

That's one sure-fire way to help it look like that......trade in your F-22s for Phantoms !
