Without paint/putty till November, I was considering the next built.
On my shelf, the Protwinus and Kit-11 tailsitters were feeling alone so I decided to give them a sister. I have a KP Pogo kit that could be this one BUT there are problems Sad : a single tail and symmetry, what would insult my collection angry . So I imagined using another kit that was similar, without tailplanes, joining them Smiley . My Me 163 Komet could be this one. It will be funny, very asymmetrical with a big Pogo half and a tiny Komet half Cheesy , and two tails all right Tongue .
What if a Pogo father and Komet mother had a baby, a siamese twin baby… ^_^

How about a prop drive mistel, with rocket power for combat?

All is possible, while...
- a Mistel would require pylons to hold one plane above the other, this is too complicated for the bad modeller that I am
- like my Protwinus and Kit-11, this one will have no propeller nor any kind of engine, this is a pure bird (or object, without flapping wings).

Before stopping modellism, I had gone a little further with putty and sanding. The end of the work is scheduled for 2009... maybe.

I go on building this one, belately.
I was afraid of a catastrophe when I will have to add with glue the tiny rear canopies of the Me-163 on the gold-painted model, so... I have glued them before painting. Then putty and sanding, then I will paint.
(I have before to close properly the air intakes of the Pogo part, as this will be a glider. Yes a glider tail-sitter, this is what-ifing craziness, and one may imagine rocket booster for take off, for me this will just be a beautiful object, I hope, 2 years after beginning...)
