My next kit to be build is the Grokhovsky G-38, 1/72, from Unicraft models.
The prototype has never been completed, cancelled 1936, but I plan to build a 1939/2005 different version, even more what-if...

My project is to bring company to my GP-38 Lightning pedal-boat (or Space-Ship Zero):
P-38 --> GP-38 <-- G-38, simply. So with the Latin GP-38 (Glider-Pursuit, 38th) will be a Cyrillic GP-38 (Grokhovsky-Planer meaning Grokhovsky-Glider, 38th)… floating on a quiet lake or falling from the sky, as you want.

The one on the lower left needs only a horizontal tail (most likely a T-tail) and some floats integral to the booms to make a nice Ekranoplane, IMHO.

Well, as the G-38 prototype has never been achieved, presenting a G-38 with Soviet Red Stars and Snow White painting is already What-ifing… See the many nice pictures at http://www.fantastic-plastic.com/G-3LightC...CruiserPage.htm
