With the Yuriev Kit-1 and Focke-Wulf 189B (resin models with vacform canopies), I had successfully taken the lesson of my XP-77 failure: I include putty in the canopy (to be painted black later) in order to turn it solid, then I handle it like a plastic/Plexiglas part, with putty and easy sanding. But the double XP-77 was the failure that led me there: sanding the putty made holes, than putty and sanding again, then holes again… 5 times, in months, I was half disgusted. So last week I tore away the too fragile canopies and replaced them by putty alone…
Alas the Tamiya Basic putty is too liquid, not a solid matter like the Humbrol putty was…

Anyway, step by step, before April 1st, I hope the model may be finished…
