At last I've finished my Hawker P.1081 in RAAF colours. To recap, the model is a mix of the forward fuselage from the Eastern Express Hawker Sea Hawk, and the much-modified wings and rear section of the same brand's Hawker Hunter (both are based on the old Frog kits). I've added in details like the cockpit, wheel wells and tailpipe, plus blending the two kits and scribing the panel lines. The model is shown in hypothetical RAAF markings, based in Korea right at the end of the Korean War in mid 1953 - armed and looking for trouble!
