CTA-144 Attacker

Academy, 1/72

This is my HC Tutor, I figured that the jet provost was made into a pretty decent little attack a/c, as well as the Tweet/ A-37, so why not the Tutor ? I call mine the CTA-144 Attacker. It has been used by the Canadian Armed Forces as A light attack and primary trainer since the late sixties, and served with distinction in both the Gulf War and the Balkans. The basic airframe is pretty much straight from the box. I drilled the holes for the starter exhaust, and cut about 4 mm off of each landing gear leg, so it wouldn't sit so high. All of the other bits, the hump, refueling probe and stores are from the Academy A-37 kit. I detailed the kit with a pencil, for the weathering and the panel lines.
